January 2014

January was the start of a new semester at Darden and the end of a month off of classes.  After being home in Decatur it was back to life and back to reality in Charlottesville.
Poor Grey got the 3rd and worst haircut of his life this month.  Luckily, he didn't seem to mind and he got a sucker so all was well in his world.  It is hair and it will grow!

We played a lot with our new Christmas toys and also played a lot with friends in VA.

It snowed some and Grey had a great time eating the snow.  I finally just gave him a cup and spoon and let him go to town.

Grey and Caleb enjoying the snow

Grey and Payton sledding in our back yard
Ethan and Grey sword fighting with sticks

Grey got to bowl for the first time this month also.

Grey is starting to really get jealous that Evan can get around and take his toys so much easier, but he is also enjoying that Evan can actually interact and play with him more.  It is so much fun to watch brothers become friends!

Evan 9 months

Evan is 9 months now and busy and into everything!  He is pulling up all the time and kind of cruising on the furniture.  He still loves to eat any and everything in sight and smiles at everyone!

Evan loves to feed Scout and Scout loves Evan because of that!
Evan loves his lovie and cuddles it so close to sleep.  When he is tired all you have to do is put that paci in and give him his lovie and he is out.  He does not like to sleep anywhere but his bed though.  When we are out and about he likes to see what is going on and will rarely nap in the stroller, but he will nap in the car.  He is very particular about his sleep :)

Christmas 2013

I tried and tried to get a picture for our Christmas card this year and this is the best I could do after about 1 million shots.  Both boys were kind of sick, but I was running short on time so it was now or never.  I think you are the cutest boys I have ever seen!

Grey was not a big fan of Santa!  This was the only picture we got of the boys with Santa this year because Grey really wanted nothing to do with getting too close.  We had a fun time at the Christmas party at Darden!

Guess who is excited to go to Decatur for Christmas???

The reenactment of the Christmas story from the Bible at Mamama and Dadada's house.  All the cousins played different parts and Grey got to be an angel this year.  Evan wasn't big enough to participate in the reenactment, but he loved watching.

Santa brought some awesome presents this year!  Grey got a train table and some games and puzzles.  Evan got a little activity table and some other goodies as well.

 Man, we love our cousins!!!

We had a great Christmas with family and were spoiled rotten with way too many gifts :)

Evan 8 months

Wow, time is flying by!  How is Evan 8 months old and crawling and eating real food and pulling up on things?  He is the happiest baby and so quick to smile and just melts my heart with his two bottom teeth poking out.
Evan started pulling up really close to his 8 month birthday.  He was so proud of himself and looks so big holding himself up on things.

November 2013

We started this month off with a trip to Decatur for my best friend's wedding.  We really enjoyed being home with family and Momma and Daddy enjoyed some time catching up with friends.

Grey helped Dadada fix fences so the cows wouldn't get out.

We visited one of Mamama's friends houses where she had miniature donkeys and chickens.

Emily's wedding

Best high school friends (Emily and Caroline)

Our yard in Charlottesville got covered in leaves and we had a fun time racking them and jumping in them.  Well, Grey had fun....Evan, not so much!

Thanksgiving was pretty uneventful since we had just be home to Decatur we stayed in Charlottesville and just cooked our own little Thanksgiving lunch.  Daddy did a great job on the turkey.  We have so much to be thankful for this year and always!

You boys sure are cute and make us so happy!
