Evan 1 month

Evan,
How are you already 1 month old?  You are such a precious boy.  You have thrown me for a loop though because you are so different than Grey was as a baby.  You only want to sleep in someones arms and you actually don't sleep that much during the day at all.  Grey loved to be swaddled, you hate it.  Grey loved his paci, you act like it is gagging you. You sure do like to eat like Grey though.  In fact, you had gained so much weight at your 2 week appt. the doctor said we didn't have to come back for a 1 month check and could just wait till 2 months so I am not sure how much you weigh. At 2 weeks you were 9lbs which is 2 lbs more than you weighed at birth. 
People are constantly telling me how much you look like me and that makes me so happy.  You are such a precious little life and you are the perfect addition to our family.  We love you so much little man.

I just can't get over how much Grey wants to kiss you and check on you.  You are just such a lovable little thing!

Evan 2 months

 Big boy is 2 months old.  He weighed 14 lbs and did so well getting his shots at his 2 month appt. He has started cooing and smiling a little.  He smiled for the first time at about 6 weeks.  It steals my heart every time he smiles at me.  I just can't keep from kissing those chunky cheeks.
Evan eats every 2 or 3 hours during the day and usually wakes up 1 or 2 times a night to eat also.  That doesn't count the dreamfeed I do at 10pm though.  We still haven't established a good daytime schedule, but we are working on it and I am figuring out what you like more and more every day.

 

 

We took an overnight family trip to the cabin on the river.  Neither of the boys slept really well, so we decided from now on it is much easier to just drive the 45 min. home for us to all sleep in our own beds.  It was a nice little getaway though, even if we didn't sleep much.
