Grey's 2nd Birthday

We decided to have a little get together for Grey's 2nd birthday.  We just had some friends over and Grey had a blast!  He learned really quickly about presents and loved opening them.  He is getting so big and just so sweet (when he is not throwing a 2 yr. old tantrum).  He loves all things boy.  Trucks, trains, rocks, animals/bugs, and tractors are some of his favorite things right now.  He is able to communicate what he wants most of the time, even if he can't say the word yet.  He seems to learn at least 1 new word and use it everyday.  It is so fun to watch him learn and ask questions.  The most common question these days is "what doing?"  He wants to know what you are doing all the time. 
He is so inquisitive, observant, and has a great memory.  He is such a sweet little guy and loves his new baby brother.  He does not like for Evan to cry and always tries to console him when he does by patting Evan's tummy and saying "don't cy".  He loves to kiss Evan and is usually pretty quick to give hugs to most anyone he knows.  My gracious these 2 years have flown by and I am loving every minute of his sweet life.  I can't wait to see how he develops this next year.

Beach trip

We went to the beach the 2nd week in July with Amelia, Scot, Kate, Jackson, and Ma-ma-ma and Da-da-da.  We had a great time!  Grey loved the beach and was not scared of the ocean like I kind of thought he might be.  He just went for it and I was so proud of him.  He loved playing in the sand with Kate and Jackson. 
Evan was a trooper and napped on the beach and just hung out.  We had such a fun beach trip and it was fun watching Daddy and Grey play in the ocean together!
